Wealthy

A garden variety dessert apple raised from open-pollinated Cherry Crab at Excelsior, Minnesota around 1860. An extremely hardy splashed skin on pale whitish-green to pale yellow ground. Flesh is white, tinged pink beneath the skin, soft, coarse-textured, juicy, and sweet. Ripe in mid-October. Stores well.
