Tydeman's Early Worcester

A McIntosh-Worcester cross raised at East Malling Research Station in 1929, and introduced in 1945. An aromatic, early dessert apple. Well colored. One-half to almost entirely covered with bright crimson flush on pale green to dull yellow ground. White flesh is crisp, fine-textured and juicy, with good vinous flavor.

Mid-August harvest.
