Apple Kuchen |

Topping

melted butter |
Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs. Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt, and add alternatively with milk. Pour into 8" well greased square cake pan. Arrange apple slices like shingles over top of batter. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over apples and drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes. Serve warm or cold with cream or Cheddar cheese. |
