A Jonathan-Wagener cross raised at the Idaho Agricultural Experiment Station in Moscow, Idaho and introduced in 1942. This is a late-keeping dessert apple with a sweet, juicy flesh that is firm, crisp, fine-textured, and white, tinged with green. The very smooth, shiny skin is one-quarter to three-quarter flushed bright red at early October harvest. Allow to remain on tree until late to produce maximum color.
